even the private companies that grew too big, too fast

devour

moms, careers, progress,

runners, joy, balance, common sense,

health.

For what?

Numbers on a screen,

employing people who are really, really bad at math,

a false sense of importance,

a false sense of security,

hypocrisy.

My security is health,

family, friends,

integrity, laughter.

Let my people go running?

Let my people do their science, their work?

Let my people live in peace?
